Today’s Exchange Rate Overview

Today’s exchange rate updated daily from the Bangladesh Bank. This data includes exchange and cross rates of various foreign currencies against BDT. Exchange rates of Taka for inter-bank and customer transactions are determined by the dealer banks, based on demand-supply interaction. Bangladesh Bank (BB) undertakes USD purchase or sale transactions with dealer banks at prevailing inter-bank exchange rates when needed to maintain orderly market conditions.The exchange rates below are used by BB for purchase and sale transactions with the Government and different International Organizations. The USDBDT buying and selling rates below are highest and lowest inter-bank exchange rates at Dhaka. The cross rates of BDT with other foreign currencies are based on NY and Dhaka closing exchange rates.

You can get Bank-wise today's exchange rates or currency rates from banks' websites. There are total 61 banks found in our database while 50 and 11 are Private and Public banks respectively. We have filed 58 banks in Commercial and 3 banks in Specialized category. 9 Foreign commercial banks are currently operating beside of 52 Local banks in Bangladesh. Those foreign banks are now operating as the branches of the banks which are incorporated in abroad.
