ফিনিশ প্রধানমন্ত্রীর চীন সফর সফল, সহযোগিতা আরও গভীর হবে: ফিনিশ রাষ্ট্রদূত

জানুয়ারি ২৯, সিএমজি বাংলা ডেস্ক: ফিনিশ প্রধানমন্ত্রী পেটেরি অর্পোর চার দিনের চীন সফর সফল হয়েছে এবং এ সফরের মাধ্যমে দুই দেশের পারস্পরিক বোঝাপড়া ও সহযোগিতা আরও জোরদার হবে বলে জানান চীনে নিযুক্ত ফিনল্যান্ডের রাষ্ট্রদূত মিকো কিন্নুনেন। বুধবার বেইজিংয়ে ফিনিশ দূতাবাসে গণমাধ্যমকে ব্রিফিংয়ে রাষ্ট্রদূত কিন্নুনেন বলেন, প্রধানমন্ত্রীর সফরের মূল লক্ষ্য ছিল পারস্পরিক আস্থা পুনর্ব্যক্ত করা এবং ভবিষ্যৎ সহযোগিতার ক্ষেত্র প্রসারিত করা। তিনি জানান, সফরকালে প্রধানমন্ত্রী অর্পো চীনের প্রেসিডেন্ট সি চিনপিং, প্রধানমন্ত্রী লি ছিয়াং এবং জাতীয় গণকংগ্রেসের স্পিকার চাও ল্যচির সঙ্গে বৈঠক করেন। বৈঠকে বিভিন্ন ইস্যুতে ফিনল্যান্ডের দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি ও নীতিমালা তুলে ধরা হয়েছে এবং একই সঙ্গে চীনের অবস্থান জানার সুযোগও হয়েছে। এ সময়, অর্থনৈতিক সহযোগিতার দিকটিও সফরের অন্যতম অর্জন হিসেবে উল্লেখ করেন কিন্নুনেন। তার ভাষ্য অনুযায়ী, সফরকালে দুই দেশের কোম্পানিগুলোর মধ্যে ১১টি বাণিজ্যিক চুক্তি এবং দুই সরকারের মধ্যে ছয়টি সমঝোতা স্মারক স্বাক্ষরিত হয়েছে। জেনিফার/ফয়সল তথ্য ও ছবি: সিসিটিভি Finnish ambassador on outcomes of Finnish PM's China visit Finland's Ambassador to China Mikko Kinnunen briefed media on the outcomes of Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo's four-day visit to China which concluded on Wednesday. Speaking to journalists at the Finnish Embassy in the Chinese capital Beijing on Wednesday, Kinnunen said the two countries enjoy a solid relationship, and that the prime minister's visit was aimed at deepening mutual understanding and fostering more cooperation. "Finland and China have very long, strong, solid relations because we have constant dialogue also between the top leaders of our countries," said Kinnunen. Finland was among the earliest countries to establish diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China. Prime Minister Orpo's visit reaffirmed the political trust built over more than seven decades of bilateral ties. "Visit was successful for Finland. Our prime minister had meetings with President Xi, Premier Li, as well as with the Speaker of the NPC, Mr. Zhao Leji. It is extremely important to be able to convey Finland's views and policies on certain important issues. And it is important to learn what does China think," Kinnunen said. China is Finland's largest trading partner in Asia, while Finland is China's third-largest partner in the Nordic region. During Orpo's visit, the two sides signed 11 agreements between companies, along with six memorandums of understanding between their governments. "Company agreements signed, the immediate value of them, I think, was a double-digit number in euros. We speak of millions. Government to government memorandums of understanding - there was a rather traditional one related to animal diseases and export of meat, pork, chicken. There was another one, which I think is very modern, has to do with sustainable building," said Kinnunen.
