মার্চ ৩, সিএমজি বাংলা ডেস্ক: সংঘাতপূর্ণ পরিস্থিতিতে শিশুদের ওপর আক্রমণের সকল কর্মকাণ্ডের তীব্র নিন্দা জানিয়েছেন জাতিসংঘে নিযুক্ত চীনের স্থায়ী প্রতিনিধি ফু ছোং। সোমবার জাতিসংঘ নিরাপত্তা পরিষদে সংঘাত-কবলিত শিশু ও শিক্ষা বিষয়ক সভায় বক্তব্য রাখতে গিয়ে তিনি এ মন্তব্য করেন। শনিবার মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্র ও ইসরায়েল, ইরানের বিরুদ্ধে সমন্বিত বিমান হামলা শুরু করার দু’দিন পর এ সভা আহ্বান করা হয়। এর জেরে মধ্যপ্রাচ্যজুড়ে মার্কিন ও ইসরায়েলি লক্ষ্যবস্তুতে ইরানের ধারাবাহিক প্রতিশোধমূলক হামলা শুরু হয়। পরিস্থিতির প্রেক্ষাপটে শিশু সুরক্ষা নিয়ে সতর্কতা জারি করে জাতিসংঘ। ইরানের রাষ্ট্রীয় গণমাধ্যমের তথ্যমতে, হামলার প্রথম দিনেই দক্ষিণ ইরানের হরমোজগান প্রদেশের একটি বালিকা প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে মারাত্মক হামলায় কমপক্ষে ১৬৫ জন নিহত হয়, যাদের অধিকাংশই স্কুলছাত্রী। সভায় ফু ছোং বলেন, বিশ্বব্যাপী একের পর এক সংঘাত ছড়িয়ে পড়ায় শিশুদের ক্ষতির ঘটনা প্রতিবছরই বাড়ছে। তিনি গভীর উদ্বেগ প্রকাশ করে স্কুলে আক্রমণসহ শিশুদের লক্ষ্য করে সকল সহিংস কর্মকাণ্ডের তীব্র নিন্দা জানান। রাষ্ট্রদূত বলেন, “শিশু সুরক্ষা জোরদার করা সর্বোচ্চ অগ্রাধিকার। চীন, শিশুদের লক্ষ্যবস্তু করে করা সকল কর্মকাণ্ডের তীব্র নিন্দা জানায় এবং আন্তর্জাতিক মানবিক আইনের অধীনে বাধ্যবাধকতা পূরণ করতে, যুদ্ধের ধ্বংসাত্মক প্রভাব থেকে শিশুদের রক্ষা করতে এবং মানবতার মৌলিক নৈতিক নীতিগুলো সমুন্নত রাখতে সংঘাতের সব পক্ষকে আহ্বান জানায়। স্কুলে আক্রমণ জাতিসংঘ স্বীকৃত শিশুদের বিরুদ্ধে ছয়টি গুরুতর লঙ্ঘনের একটি—এ ধরনের কর্মকাণ্ডের তীব্র নিন্দা ও দৃঢ় বিরোধিতা করা উচিত।” জেনিফার/ হাশিম তথ্য ও ছবি: সিসিটিভি। China strongly condemns all acts attacking children: envoy China strongly condemns all acts targeting children, said Fu Cong, China's permanent representative to the United Nations, speaking at a UN Security Council meeting on children and education in conflict on Monday.
