দক্ষিণ সুদানকে কৃষি যন্ত্রপাতি উপহার দিল চীন

জানুয়ারি ২১, সিএমজি বাংলা ডেস্ক: দক্ষিণ সুদানের পশ্চিম ইকুয়েটোরিয়া রাজ্যে ২০টিরও বেশি কৃষি যন্ত্রপাতি অনুদান দিয়েছে দেশটিতে অবস্থিত চীনা দূতাবাস। মঙ্গলবার জুবায় আয়োজিত এক অনুষ্ঠানে এসব যন্ত্রপাতি হস্তান্তর করা হয়। অনুষ্ঠানে দক্ষিণ সুদানের শান্তি ভবন মন্ত্রণালয়ের আন্ডার সেক্রেটারি পিয়া ফিলিপ মাইকেল বলেন, এই সহায়তা রাজ্যে খাদ্য নিরাপত্তা বৃদ্ধির পাশাপাশি শান্তি প্রতিষ্ঠার প্রচেষ্টা শক্তিশালী করবে। তিনি উল্লেখ করেন, ২০২১ সাল থেকে পশ্চিম ইকুয়েটোরিয়া রাজ্য সাম্প্রদায়িক সংঘর্ষের মুখে রয়েছে, যেখানে টেকসই কৃষি উন্নয়ন শান্তি ও স্থিতিশীলতার জন্য গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখতে পারে। মাইকেল আরও বলেন, যন্ত্রগুলো রাজ্যকে জীবিকা নির্বাহভিত্তিক কৃষি থেকে যান্ত্রিক ও বাজারমুখী কৃষিতে রূপান্তরিত করতে সহায়তা করবে। তিনি চীনের জনগণ ও সরকারের প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে বলেন, এই অংশীদারত্ব দক্ষিণ সুদানের সম্প্রদায়ের রূপান্তর এবং স্থিতিশীলতার সূচনা করবে। দক্ষিণ সুদানে নিযুক্ত চীনা রাষ্ট্রদূত মা ছিয়াং জানান, চীনা প্রতিষ্ঠান চাওথাই গ্রুপের দান করা যন্ত্রপাতির মধ্যে রয়েছে ট্রাক্টর, রোটারি টিলার ও প্ল্যান্টার। তিনি বলেন, এই অনুদান দক্ষিণ সুদানের কল্যাণে চীনা উদ্যোগগুলোর দায়িত্ববোধ ও প্রতিশ্রুতির প্রতিফলন। জেনিফার/ফয়সল তথ্য ও ছবি: সিনহুয়া hinese embassy donates agricultural machinery to boost food security in South Sudan state Source: XinhuaEditor: huaxia2026-01-21 01:50:45 JUBA, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese Embassy in South Sudan on Tuesday donated more than 20 pieces of agricultural machinery to boost food production in the African country's Western Equatoria State.
