ভাইভা হয়েছিল ২ ফেব্রুয়ারি ২০২৩। ভাইভায় কয়েকটি প্রশ্ন ছাড়া বাকি সবই ছিল ইংরেজিতে। ক্যাডার পছন্দক্রমে ছিল পররাষ্ট্র, প্রশাসন, পুলিশ, কাস্টমস এক্সাইজ অ্যান্ড ভ্যাট ও অডিট অ্যান্ড অ্যাকাউন্টস।

Myself : Sir, I am currently working at Virology Laboratory of ICDDRB at a position of Research Officer.
Chairman : Why are you willing to switch the job?
Myself : Thank you, sir. Basically, I am working under contractual service agreement and there is uncertainty about the extension of my service tenure which depends on the timeframe of the research project. Moreover, I have to resign the job if I want to pursue PhD abroad. However, I would like serve the country even after attaining the PhD abroad. Chairman : Okay, is it your first BCS?
Myself : Sir, this is my first BCS with preparation although I have taken 40th BCS without preparation and failed in preliminary examination.
Chairman : Why have you chosen BCS (Foreign Affairs) cadre as your first choice?
Myself : Sir, I would like to represent my country at the world stage. If I join this cadre, I will get opportunity to work for the rights of our expatriates. In addition, I can play role in building the soft image of my country to the international arena…

Myself : Our foreign policy emanates from the article 25 of Constitution of People’s Republic of Bangladesh. According to the statement of the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, father of the nation, our foreign policy is ‘Friendship to all, malice towards none’.

Myself : When an Ambassador posted temporary on a special mission for a special purpose by the order of honourable Prime Minister is known as Ambassador at Large. There is no fixed workstation of them for performing the activities. Currently, Ziauddin Ahmed sir is the Ambassador at large to the Prime Minister Office.
